Haney's season
Emircan Haney, 24, won the compound men's title at the Hyundai Archery World Cup Final in Nanjing by a single point and finished the year as one of the most consistent compound archers on the circuit. "Today is the most special moment in my 15-year archery career," he said. "The fact that this award was decided by public vote makes it even more meaningful to me." Two months later he added the European individual title in Antalya.
Sheetal Devi and Baptiste Addis
Sheetal Devi's award followed her first world title in Gwangju, where she beat the reigning Paralympic champion. Baptiste Addis, part of France's Paris 2024 silver-medal men's team, was recognised as the best under-21 archer of the year.
A new award for fair play
The Fair Play category was presented for the first time. At the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, Florent Mulot noticed that his Chinese opponent had drawn on the wrong target and alerted him before the shot was released. Mulot went on to lose the match. "This is a victory I share with all those who care about the values of sport," he said.
Coach and team
Elias Cuesta was named Coach of the Year for his work with the United States team, whose archers won the World Cup Final, the Vegas Shoot and world championship team silver during 2025. Korea's recurve men, who won the world team title in Gwangju a year after their Olympic gold, were named Team of the Year.
