Sources

Factual statements about equipment are drawn from manufacturer specifications and documentation. Statements about rules and competition formats are drawn from the relevant governing bodies, primarily World Archery and national federations. Coaching guidance reflects widely taught practice and is presented as general guidance, not a replacement for in-person instruction.

Fact versus opinion

Where an article includes our own judgement, that content is placed in a clearly labelled editorial opinion box. Text outside those boxes is intended to be factual and verifiable.

Product research and reviews

  • We do not describe hands-on testing we have not carried out.
  • We do not invent user experiences, quotes, or testimonials.
  • We do not publish prices. Prices change frequently and a stale price misleads readers.
  • Specifications are attributed to their source and may change if a manufacturer updates a product.
  • Products are chosen for relevance to the reader, never for the commission they pay.

Affiliate links

Articles containing affiliate links show a disclosure before the first such link, and every affiliate link is marked with rel="sponsored" so search engines treat it correctly. The full disclosure explains how this works.

Authors

We do not invent author biographies or credentials. Author pages describe real roles and experience only.

Updates and corrections

Articles display a published date and, where applicable, an updated date. Significant corrections are noted within the article. Report an error through the contact page.

Safety

Archery involves equipment that can cause injury if misused. Our guidance is general. Always follow your equipment manufacturer's instructions and the rules of your range or club.
