Ellison's sixth
Brady Ellison won the World Cup Final for a record sixth time, moving past Kim Woo-jin's five titles. An San, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic champion, took the recurve women's title a month after a semifinal defeat at the Gwangju world championships on home soil.
Haney's breakthrough
Türkiye's Emircan Haney, 24, won the compound men's title by a single point, 149–148, for the biggest result of his career. The win carried him to the public vote for Archer of the Year at the 2025 World Archery Awards.
The compound women's reallocation
On the day, Mariana Bernal beat her Mexican team-mate Andrea Becerra in a shoot-off after a 147–147 final, with the deciding arrow measured 13.9 mm closer to the centre. World Archery noted she was the first compound woman other than Sara López to win the Final since 2016.
On 16 July 2026, World Archery announced that Bernal had been disqualified for an anti-doping rule violation and that the results had been reallocated. Becerra was named champion, Jyothi Surekha Vennam moved from bronze to silver, and Ella Gibson was awarded bronze. Prize money and awards were redistributed to match.
